Luke has a Greeves Motorcycle – the ignition is taken care of by an Electrex World CDI unit, and Luke is looking for a simple lighting circuit which will run off a Makita power tool battery.

This is an 18 volt battery, so requires a simple DC to DC step-down converter (commonly known as a Buck Converter)
